I passed my BFR (biennial flight review) with flying pun intended.

My instructor made me really work for the last bit, though. He has a thing about people needing to be able to land in heavy crosswinds (which I agree with), so we went up last night and did about an hour of touch & go's in variable, gusty wind.

I don't mind admitting that I was covered in sweat after the hour. Gusty winds are the worst, you get right down to the runway, are just about to touch down, and the wind gusts and picks the plane up 10 feet, then lets go...

Anyhow, I'm a fully licensed pilot again, and I plan on flying next Monday night for a while. Things are going well. :)
