When Bad Decades Happen To Good Singers

Did anyone here know that, before he was Addicted To Love, Robert Palmer was actually a damn fine funk/soul singer in the 70's?

He released at least 2 albums back then, including 1974's "Sneakin' Sally Through The Alley", with the title track being a cover of the original that Stevie Wonder would've been jealous of.

Interestingly enough, his band back then contained members of Little Feat, as well as a few other really good musicians that have gone on to big things. Just goes to show you can't judge someone by their 15 minutes of fame...
